face-off

For the last few weeks our drawing class has been focused on contours and layering information. This week we are shifting gears to include people. As my notes indicate, I really enjoyed this assignment where the students divided themselves within the room and faced-off drawing. We did something similar last semester. You can see it here.

There you go again, doing awesome contour drawings! Because I love them, I've passed on a "Creative Blogger" award to you. Check it out via the link to my site.

What a fun project. I really like the inverted "V" the 3 central figures make coupled with the horizontal lines in the back. Really nice.

I would LOVE to take this class, Suzanne. What a cool assignment. This drawing -- from the expression on the faces to the legs, to the darker background -- is very well executed. Your ability with contour is humbling.
