cesar milan, you've met your match

We've been pet-sitting this week for a little jack russell terrier by the name of Riley. She couldn't possibly be any cuter.

Edgar (AKA: The Dog Whisperer Wannabe) has been trying to get Pokey and Riley to conform to the idea of a being "pack." Surprisingly, so far it's working quite well, though I can't help but chuckle a little just thinking about Edgar as pack leader.

Hi Suzanne,

I love that little pointy face all snuggled in. It's a wonderful drawing! I've always wondered if Jack Russells ever lay around. I've only ever seen them jumping and running. They are the cutest little critters but I've heard they're too smart and can be difficult pets. I'm glad your pack is working out!

I adore those perky little ears in the second sketch. Jack Russels are such smart, lively little dogs and as Jana says, sometimes TOO smart... a little like people, I guess.

Suzanne-

Funny little post. Dog Whisperer is a nice connection to Pokey. Have a nice New Years Eve. Happy New Year and I'll be expecting great things from you in 2008.
