You can imagine my dismay as I reached for a business card and pulled out bits of a crumbled cookie instead. I'm always struggling to keep my purse neat and tidy. This didn't help matters...not in the least.
One time someone asked for a kleenex and I reached into my purse and (thinking I had hold of one of those little tissue pocket-packs) I pulled out a... eh-hem, "sanitary napkin". I would rather it had been a cookie...
Oh, that makes me so sad for you! That's the worst. Then again, I'd be like, Well maybe this is a good diet for me. Want a cookie? No can do...it's all smashed up!
Oh, and to Cindy's point, I regularly find unwrapped sticks of Orbit gum in my bag because their packaging is SO bad that the gum always falls out of the container!
As a mom, I seem to have this type of thing happen a lot - with a variety of snacks. That it was a doubletree cookie is especially unfortunate....those are GOOD.
I always assume I was not meant to have that (and it is usually a sweet treat!!) and Yuck to crumbs in the purse, BUT you got a great journal page from it all!!

OMG! I do the same thing! I just don't admit it to a World Wide audience. Well I guess I just did. I blame it on the artsy side of me.

Totally empathise on the purse tidiness issue. How come they start out organized but never stay that way?!
