february feet

february feet
Its interesting how the more you draw, the more you realize what you like to draw.  Strangely enough, I have an affinity for feet...  See here and here and here for examples.

What subject matter do you feel...excuse me...drawn to?

Beware...I once wrote a post about how I love aprons, especially vintage ones. I named the post "My Apron Fetish" not really thinking about the consequences of doing so. Now, nearly every day, I have weirdos that come to my blog looking for anime and sexy photos of women naked in aprons. Usually from Asia and Northern Europe.

Besides that though, love the drawing!

Too weird, but we were on the same wavelength....because I just finished a 4 shoe series on my NDS. But I love the way you packed in so many kicks. Not one pair is hidden or lost - nice work!

I like all your feet and kudos for the ones wearing the Gators! I like drawing feet but I'm still not as good as you are. They are challenging because they are not a simple form and getting the perspective just right is so difficult to me. You're my feet princess!

Hi again Susanne, to answer your question, I had to purchase an R4 card, then download the application "Colors" (free). Painting is done with a stylus...any stylus will do :)

Here's video clips to my "boot" painting, just click on "Press here...." button: http://colors.collectingsmiles.com/details/13178-Boots_by_Gerald_de_Dios.php

There's is another application, "Brushes" you can purchase for the iphone or itouch. You can either paint with your fingers or buy a pogo stylus online.

Lemme know if you have more questions or need more links. Cheers!

Oh, you asked about the controls on the Nintendo DS. Yes, they are all shortcut tools to zoom in/out, eyedropper, drag image, color wheel. Here's someone's demo on youtube:

The downside is there is no undo button...Yikes! But it takes time to get used to.

Great post Suzanne. How cool to draw all those different feet. I find I draw my coffee mug more than anything else. I assume because I always have a cup of coffee near me.

I LOVE your drawing of feet. In fact, I love seeing other people's drawings of feet in general. Maybe I have a thing for feet too?

I'm most drawn to faces, but, oddly, I have trouble remembering faces.
