I'm so SO SO SOOOOO excited about the three molded plywood chairs I picked up this past weekend at the Liberty Antiques Festival that I simply can't keep them to myself. Gorgeous. Designed by George Mulhauser (who, I learned via a little internet research, is also thought to have played a large role in the creation of the Coconut Chair), the three chairs are perfect for the three of us in the little breakfast nook-to-be of our kitchen.
What's not so perfect? The bright red walls and black and white tile floor they're surrounded by. I get a headache from the contrast every time I cook...or wait, is that just the cooking?!?

well... i like it, too!
I like it (all), but I'm not the one who's living with it.
Really it's cool.
I actually really like the red walls... not so much about the floor, though. But I think the chairs would look better with more contrast with the wall...
Cute chairs, though! What a find!
Oh nooooo!!!! Don't get rid of the floor!!!! It's my favorite ever! Unless of course it's made of cheap linoleum....I prefer tiles...
Yeah, live with it for a little while and just change the wall colour...
NICE chairs...and when's the house warming party?
Have a good day...
