I think this was the highlight of my sketching experience in Amsterdam: the mind-bending experience of sketching the scene behind me as revealed in the mirror in front of me --including my own reflection and Edgar, who unfortunately, turned out to look more like a frog than a prince. Oh well. You win some, you lose some! I guess this is payback.

I'm envying your travels, especially that little trattoria italiana... It looks lovely, so I'm glad you posted it, even if you think Edgar looks more frogly than princely.
love this perspective!
Cute...LOL! So where exactly where you guys?
Mirrors are strange things...I've drawn some...looks like a cool scene anyhow, even if your sketch of Edgar didn't come out as you thought it would.
i find myself analyzing your scene sketches like i do photos, scanning the background and trying to figure out the stories going on behind the scenes. super. love 'em!
I like the pixie-like expression on your face with Edgar looking skeptical. Enjoyed your travel stories and sketches too. Glad you're home safely. Did you make the beautiful journals on your banner?
Lovely drawing!
love the shading on this. Gives it real presence. My shading is always all over the place.
