I'm working on illustrations for a workbook for teen mothers. This is Jasmine, the main character of the narrative.
The workbook details Jasmine's experience coming to terms with being pregnant, accepting changes to her body, her life and learning to care for her newborn.
I feel lucky to work on a project of this sort.

This is an interesting project, Suzanne! I hope you post more when it's ready.
What an exciting project! I'd love to see more of it...
important work. well done you!
You may feel lucky but I bet the folks in charge of getting the book together are counting their lucky stars to get you to illustrate for them.
Congratulations!

That really is an exciting and important project! Keep us posted.
I definitely need to spend more time here. Your drawing is simple and elegant. Lots of good energy. Brava!
Thanks for all your positive comments. Considering that these are only a small portion of the drawings I'm working on for the project, there are plenty more to come!
She is adorable looking...what a good idea to be a part of, making a situation that could be negative into a positive...
An admirable project!
good job baby!
such a great project for you! congrats!
It IS an important project. Thank you for doing it. I was a teen mom. I was lucky to have a supportive mother and mother-in-law (yes, I was married on my 16th birthday), but in 1968, there was NOTHING for teen moms like this. Bless you.
Thank you Ann. Thank you everyone. I appreciate your thoughts.
