venice part 4: simple pleasures

It's difficult not to want to shop in Italy.

This wonderful breakfast was delivered to our room every morning. It combined all my favorites: bread, cheese, tea, chocolate. Yum.

The whole time I was sketching during the trip Charis was photographing and Addie was interpretive dancing!?! Long story. Anyway, if you'd like, check out Charis's beautifully amazing photography from Venice on her blog. Please ignore the awkward girl in front of the camera (me).

Cheese & chocolate, that classic combination. :-D It does sound delish. And it's a superb sketch!

Your latest drawings are amazing, Suzanne. That tray of breakfast is so well done! I love your shoes. I found the position of your feet particularly cute. Aw.

I loved the photo slideshow. The three of you are beyond adorable!

I sent the link to my daughter, and we've decided we MUST go to Venice, even if we have to knock over a series of 7-11 stores to fund the trip. ; ).

Now I'm even MORE envious! I just visited your friend's site and all I can say is wow! Can you imagine living there? how do they get anything done with all of that old world beauty around them.

BTW, amazing photographs!

Awww, I'm glad my enthusiasm is making its way to all of you. Venice is a must. It is definitely worth a few 7-11 robberies, or in my case, living in a house without heat to save money!

Hey, you're back! For some reason I thought your Venice trip was going to be a lengthy one. Anyway, great sketches and loved looking at Cheris' photos, which are something else (And her writing...Wow. I wish I could write that well! I got caught up in her blog for a good while, reading past entries, etc.). Like so many of them but my favorite was the one where you show your sketch. Glad your back and enjoying spring!
